Ziad al-Saadi was found guilty of spying for Israel and sentenced to 20 years in prison with hard labor.
A Lebanese military court ruled that Saadi spied for Israel between 2004 and 2005.
He was also charged with engaging in espionage plots on behalf of Israel and providing information on political and party figures.
Saadi, a half-paralyzed Brig. Gen., confessed he started spying for Israel in 2004 by providing information about Hizbullah and the Resistance.
The Israeli agent also admitted he spied on family members and fellow residents from his hometown Shebaa.
Saadi, an airman, said he worked as representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization at the United Nations, and holds several medals.
